This will be our 4th time going to Breaks Interstate Park. Usually we pick places to visit that we haven’t been before but this area is so scenic we keep coming back! After a weekend in Smoky Mountain National Park (in the cage), we return home Sunday evening only to leave Monday morning for two days, but this time on the bike.
The forecast had been looking like rain the week before but about mid week that changed for the better. Monday started a little foggy but eventually cleared for a nice evening and Tuesday was excellent.

Quick Tips :
Morning fog can produce wet roads
During Spring and Fall months Breaks Interstate Park usually has dense fog in the mornings
Spring and Fall offer less hours of daylight, plan your route with that in mind
Making time for stops throughout a trip/ride allows your body to rest and will help you enjoy it more
Staying warm is important for proper motor skills while riding a motorcycle but being too warm can cause you to become tired and lose focus. Regulate your body temperature by adding or removing layers, taking breaks and drinking fluids
